Ambulatory EMR (100+) 2007

September 4, 2007 | Read Time: 1  minute

Provider organizations with an EMR report using 85 percent of its functionality- but what exactly are they using? Which vendors lead adoption? What are the impediments to adoption? How does a new EMR impact physician workflow? Just how satisfied are providers, especially physicians? And what about that ever-nagging integration question?

KLAS set out to find answers to these and other questions among ambulatory organizations with 100 or more physicians in our first Ambulatory EMR study (100+ physicians). The results provide thought-provoking insight into provider experiences, vendor strengths and weaknesses, and the overall state of the physician EMR adoption.

Vendors included in the Ambulatory EMR Practices Over 100 Physicians:

  • Allscripts TouchWorks EHR
  • Cerner PowerChart Office
  • Epic EpicCare Ambulatory
  • GE Centricity EMR
  • Misys EMR
  • NextGen EMR
