If providers were to start fresh today and select a new CPOE system, with all the attendant charting, alerting and clinical repository capabilities, which vendors would they consider purchasing?
KLAS’ latest Clinical Systems CPOE study evaluates provider perception of nine CPOE vendors and includes provider commentary on respondents’ current products and vendors. KLAS found that a large number of providers have now decided upon a CPOE strategy based upon a few key criteria.
Strategy Status
From the 171 organizations responding, 85 percent (or 145) have chosen a CPOE strategy. This is up from that measured 18 months ago, where 69 percent indicated they had chosen a strategy.
